PlacesForBikes is a project driven by PeopleForBikes. Its objective is to identify the cities and towns in the US that offer the best cycling experience. Data collected via its annual survey helps city planners make improvements to infrastructure and policies in support of cycling.
Five key factors are taken into consideration in determination of how a city ranks: Ridership, Safety, Network, Acceleration, and Reach.
No matter where you ride, why you ride, or what type of riding you like, your feedback is vital to the project … so please chime in and spread the word!
