About SCORE Physical Therapy

Physical Therapy is a health care specialty involved with evaluating, diagnosing, and treating disorders of the musculoskeletal system. The ultimate goal of Physical Therapy is to restore maximal functional independence to each individual client. To achieve this goal, physical modalities such as exercise, heat, cold, massage, and mild electrical stimulation are utilized. Established in 1999 as San Luis Sports Therapy and Orthopedic Rehabilitation in San Luis Obispo, California, the Team is currently comprised of close to 300 team members from diverse backgrounds striving to improve the lives of those they touch. Boasting Board Certified, Doctoral educated practitioners; the Movement For Life® team is able to apply current and effective treatment paradigms in a healthy, healing atmosphere, encouraging progress.

In Kern County and the San Joaquin Valley our clinics are known as Central Valley Physical Therapy; in the delta region of California, we are known as Delta Physical Therapy; in Santa Cruz County we are known as Score Physial Therapy; and in the Coachella Valley our clinics are known as Avid Physical Therapy.
