Unlimited Free Tune-Ups
When you bought your rad new bike from one of our two Epicenter locations, chances are you had a lot of considerations bouncing around your noggin: Where should I go on my first ride? What accessories do I need to ride in style? What should I name my bike? Did I remember to feed my gerbil this morning?
With all of this excitement, you may not have retained all of the info about your new bike. The most important thing is that your bike comes with unlimited FREE tune-ups for the life of your bike. Here's how it all works:
If you got your bike from Epicenter, your bike is eligible for unlimited free basic tune-ups.
Epicenter basic tune-ups include: torque all fasteners, align and adjust brakes and shifting, adjust the headset, inspect the bottom bracket, lube the chain, and inflate the tires.
There is no maximum number of free tune-ups allowed. We recommend that the average rider bring their bike in for a basic tune every fifty hours. If you ride just a couple hours a week, this comes to about twice a year. For those who log closer to four hours of ride time per week, you should bring your bike in quarterly. Ride more often than that? Adjust accordingly. The bottom line though, is if you think about this in dollars, you’re going to save HUNDREDS every year!
No appointment is necessary for Epicenter tune-ups. However, if you want to ensure the fastest possible turn-around, give us a call a day or two in advance and we will set aside a window of time in our service schedule just for your bike.
Out on a ride and don’t have time for a full tune-up, but need a quick on-the-spot adjustment? No problem! If you got your bike from Epicenter, minor drop-in adjustments are always free.*
*Drop-in service is on a first come, first served basis.
