Epicenter Cycling was established in 2009 by Santa Cruz locals Shawn and Kazia Wilson. Our three stores in Aptos, Santa Cruz and Monterey offer a wide range of quality cycling products and services. Our enthusiastic crew has got your back whether you enjoy dirt, gravel, or pavement — or heck, mixed terrain! Doesn't matter if you ride for fitness, racing, or just plain fun, we've got you covered. Whether your bike gets you around town or gets you away from it all, we're your LBS (local bike shop). Test rides are ALWAYS free, and we invite you to try out as many bikes as you want. Need a little more time in the saddle to make a decision? Take out a demo to get the best feel for your ride — we’ll even take the demo fee off the price of the bike if you purchase it. And we’re not going to just throw a helmet on your head and send you on your way when you test ride or demo a bike. Our crew will take the time to fit you properly to the bike and ensure you are comfortable in every way. We’ll even accompany you on a ride if you like!

Need something fixed? Certainly, you’ve come to the right place. Our experienced mechanics are passionate about their craft; your bike will be in the best hands. We’re all cyclists, too, so we know what a drag it is when your bike is in the shop. Therefore, we'll work hard to get your bicycle back to you in no time flat. At Epicenter Cycling, special service doesn’t stop with caring for your bike — we take care of YOU, too. To that end, we offer bicycle and cleat fittings, saddle sizing, and suspension set up. We’ll even go riding with you to show you our favorite trails and routes!

That’s why, when you purchase a bike from us, we give you unlimited FREE tune-ups for the life of your bike. Of course, we’ll get you set up properly with a full bicycle fit and saddle sizing at no charge. Additionally, we'll discount any accessories you buy on New Bike Day 15%, and you can count on plenty of discounts thereafter.

We have a solid track record of supporting bike advocacy organizations such as Mountain Bikers of Santa Cruz (MBOSC), Santa Cruz County Cycling Club (SCCCC), Bike Santa Cruz County, Girls Rock Santa Cruz, and Ecology Action. Likewise, we contribute to many other bike-related fundraisers, projects, and events in our community.
