Workplaces, clubs, as well as individuals, can participate in Biketober. Compete with your friends, rack up the miles, and help drop Co2 emissions within our community. Autumn is the best time to get out and ride thanks to the mild weather and beautiful fall colors. Don’t miss out on this wonderful event. Register here to get started!

Biketober had a record-breaking 197 workplaces and 3,312 individual riders participate which resulted in a whopping 242,327 lbs of Co2 emission prevention. Wow! We all win with a healthier environment.

Biketober can catalyze thousands of Santa Cruz County residents to get out and ride this October. From local businesses to schools, people commuting to work by bike for the first time, or chasing down a big mileage goal for 2021, Biketober has something for everyone. Fun events, bike workshops, community, and cash prizes are just some of the benefits you can gain from riding with us this October, join us!

How Do I Earn Points?

If you registered for Biketober as an individual:

  1. Earn points by riding.

    1km = 1 point

    1 day = 10 points

  2. Encourage others to ride.

1 existing rider = 50 points

1 new rider = 100 points

Keep in mind, all types of bike riding can count!

If you registered as part of your workplace, your workplace points will be the sum of all points earned by every employee participating in Biketober!
